Extensive and Improved Traditional Poultry Farming in Togo: A Comparative Analysis of Socioeconomic Characteristics of Farmers

Since 2014, the Agricultural Sector Support Project (PASA) has been assisting smallholder farmers in Togo with adoption of Improved Traditional Poultry Farming Technique (ITPFT) rural areas for wealth creation, food security and poverty alleviation. This paper focuses on comparing socioeconomic characteristics beneficiaries non-beneficiaries PASA subsidies. Both random purposive sampling techniques were used to select 400 farmers. The sample consisted 86 project 314 non-beneficiaries. Structured questionnaires collect data.
